1) Those pesky cuticles can really be a hassle. Try gently pushing them back with your fingers after every time you wash your hands. Your cuticles will be a bit softer when wet. If you do this regularly, you'll never have to worry about cuticles again!

2) Sometimes we skip applying a top coat when painting our nails. This is a very important step. Not only does it keep your nails from staining but it helps them to stay strong, allowing them to grow longer without chipping.

3) Be sure to moisturize! Applying lotion daily (especially in the winter months) is crucial.

4) Eat a healthy diet. Simple things like drinking lots of water and making sure to get your daily recommended intake of calcium are very effective in nail health.

Healthy and Beautiful Nails?

In order to keep the nails as clean and shine, as in a good shape, try by using some oils
and lemon. This will moisturize and leave them clean and smooth.

For strengthening the nails drink fresh carrot juice daily as they are high in calcium and phosphorus.
Also Jelly will make them really strong and will let them grow more quick and healthy!

Stay away from artificial nails as much as possible. Apart from destroying the underlying nail with their chemicals and glue, they might also lead to fungal infection of the fingernails.

If you are suffering from the problem of hangnails, it is advisable to eat food rich in protein, vitamin C and folic acid.
